Development of the cara software was modelled on manual technique procedures using the 3shape DentalDesigner software. This was to ensure that the dental technician also recognizes on the computer the working stages, which are established and familiar from previous dental laboratory procedures. There is also another reason. It is intended to make the introduction to designing on the screen easier.
The flexible modelling software can be used to design 3D models quickly, easily and perfectly in a few steps. Previously, for example only single dies could be scanned; it is now even possible and feasible to scan a bridge wax-up with cara.
